Best known for his appearance on BET’s American Gangster the “Freeway” Ricky Ross episode from season 1 and the Brown on Black which was a series about the Latino and Black gangs. On the American Gangster documentary he spoke on his involvement with convicted Drug Trafficker “Freeway” Ricky Ross back in the early 80’s. This 5 time Humanitarian Award winner wears many hats....Music Video and Film Producer, Community Activist, Philanthropist, Motivational Speaker and Loving Father. And that’s just to name a few. He travels state to state speaking to students about Youth empowerment. Hard work and determination to touch peoples lives keep him going. He stays humble and true to the one thing he’s passionate about….“His work”.
Mr. Murphy will soon be touring to promote his upcoming reality show called “Trip "El" OGOGOG” it’s a 26 episode series which profiles real life gang members wanting to make a change in their lives. Mr. Murphy will help them transform to the outstanding citizens they aspire to be.
